Then you need to accumulate at least 2 weeks of data. Google’s robots, or “spiders,” crawl the Internet by “clicking” one link after another after another. They discover new pages and websites as part of that crawl, and store the content of each of those pages in a giant database. Blog comments are a great way to promote content, diversify anchor text and build out a natural link profile. Adding proof terms to your content helps a page appear at the top of search engine rankings, provided all other factors and criteria are met.

Is your content visible in search results?

It does not matter if you are running an e-commerce store or a business blog, content marketing remains an important part of modern-day SEO processes. It takes time for Google to recognize your website and assign it the authority it deserves. It takes time for it to see that changes have been made, compare the quality of your website and your content to everyone else in the same space. Because they’re so often avoided by using them you can access potential customers you would otherwise never attract. Google’s Penguin 4.0 is now included in the core algorithm and is updated in real-time as of September 2016. Your content strategy could use a facelift

The more popular and important a site is, the more links from that site matter. A site like Wikipedia has thousands of diverse sites linking to it, which means it's probably a popular and important site. In a link building campaign, you have to find target Web sites in the first place, review them to decide if asking for a link is worthwhile, identify the contact person and send them a customized link request. Remember, Google doesn’t like content written for SEO purposes. Create a list of the top 10 keywords for which you want to achieve rankings. Do a search once a month on Google and see where you stand in the rankings. Keep a record of the ranking and you will be able to see the progress of your SEO efforts. Note jumps by more than five places in the ranking, because these changes are not usually due just to normal changes and search engine updates.
